Guayaki came to North wanting a complete overhaul of the design on their canned drinks. They had been attempting to get their drinks into national supermarket and gas station chains with no luck due to the poor quality look of the old design. It was pitched and decided upon to create a variety of designs based on a tribal theme. I was tasked with creating the majority of the various tribal designs. Each had to be different but look like it belonged to the same family of products. The end result was a huge success. Now I see them everywhere I go!

Columbia was a huge client for North. In my two years working with the agency I created hundreds of variations of Columbia ads for multiple ongoing campaigns. I worked on everything from billboards, bush shelter ads, magazine ads, mall kiosks, online banner ads, and more. I was responsible for a lot of production work, quality control, and building out weekly presentation decks. The results for Columbia were staggering. They had their biggest growth period (by far) during that time.

EA Games, in collaboration with AMD, needed a way to promote their partnership on the newest Medal of Honor game for PC, Playstation, and XBox. I created the design for the campaign which drew 145,786 interactions, 60,606 entries, and 31,662 shares on Facebook.
I spent a year working in-house with Design by Humans. What an awesome experience! I designed hundreds of marketing materials and officially branded stores for Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and many more. The thing I am most proud of however, was the redesign of the DBH website.
"After owning design related and ecommerce businesses for over ten years, I can confidentially say that Ryan is one of the most talented designers that I've ever worked with. Ryan continues to wow me with amazing UI design and really thinks through all of the possible scenarios a user might encounter. His ability to adapt to different styles while working and communicating with various departments in our company continues to amaze me."

During that time I got the chance to work with a wide range of amazing clients including Guayaki, Stanley, Anchor Brewing, Columbia, Pacific Foods, Deschutes Brewery, Clif Bar, and more. I also re-designed the North website and edited these really fun photos of all the employees (examples below).

Via SocialMedia180, I designed the official website to debut the feature film The Lords of Salem by Rob Zombie. When the initial design was presented to Rob, his response was, “This guy gets it. I don’t don’t need to see any more.” The website and joint social campaign was a huge success, generating 47,000 Facebook fans in a few short months.

I've had the opportunity to design officially branded Star Wars content through multiple avenues over the years. This was a Star Wars t-shirt e-commerce site I designed. I also created the digital matte painting used in the background of the site.
This is a collection of various memorable projects I've designed over the years.
